Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and mission-driven Church Evangelist & Digital Minister to lead outreach efforts and strengthen the church’s digital presence. This role combines evangelism, discipleship, and digital ministry, with a focus on reaching both local communities and global audiences.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the church’s influence through community engagement, online platforms, and strategic communication of the Gospel.

Key Responsibilities

Evangelism & Outreach

• Lead and coordinate evangelism activities including street evangelism, door-to-door outreach, and community engagement initiatives
• Develop strategies to reach diverse communities within Middlesbrough and surrounding areas
• Support church growth through soul-winning and discipleship efforts
• Build relationships with individuals, families, and community groups

Digital Ministry

• Manage and grow the church’s digital platforms (social media, website, streaming channels)
• Create and oversee engaging content including sermon clips, devotionals, and promotional materials
• Coordinate live streaming of church services and events
• Develop digital evangelism strategies to reach online audiences

Discipleship & Ministry Support

• Support teaching, Bible study, and follow-up for new converts
• Assist in youth and family-focused ministry initiatives
• Work with leadership to implement discipleship programmes
• Provide pastoral support where required

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

• A committed Christian aligned with the doctrine of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide
• A Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:2) in any discipline
• A recognised Theology Certificate (mandatory)
• Demonstrable experience in evangelism, pastoral ministry, or church leadership
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to engage diverse and multicultural communities
• Basic to intermediate digital skills (social media, content creation, or streaming tools)
• A clear calling to ministry, discipleship, and outreach

Desirable (Advantageous)

• An advanced degree or certification in Digital Media, Media Production, or Communications
• Experience in digital ministry or online evangelism
• Experience working with young people or community groups
• Technical knowledge of audio-visual or live streaming systems
